Smith & Wesson 1st Model Double Action Revolver, #12353, .44 Russ. cal., 6-shot, 5'' barrel, blue finish, bone grips, half-moon front and fixed rear sights. Last patent date on barrel is 1880. Mfg'd approx. 1888. Condition is fine retaining approx. 85% original finish with light overall holster wear, some freckling and light scratches. No finish remains on the back strap. Dished service style bone grips are nicely toned with no chips or cracks. Bore is excellent with one small area of corrosion that should clean. Est.: $750-$1,000. (Antique)
